Are these bulbs compatible with Thread? Do the Matter smart bulbs need a HUB?
No, these bulbs are not compatible with Thread; For Aidot APP user, no HUB needed. For the other APP user like Alexa/ Apple Home/ Google Home/ SmartThings, a HUB is required
Device addition fails ?
If you're experiencing device addition failure, ensure that the phone using the app is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi and that your hub is connected to the same router. You can try resolving this issue by restarting the hub, app, or phone.
Not being able to connect to AiDot?
For Android User, updating your system to the latest version. For IOS User, updating your iOS system to the latest 17.0 version.
Are there alternative ways to connect the device apart from scanning the QR code on the light?
You can also try scanning the QR code on the instruction manual instead.
Can I use a dimmer to control the bulb?
