If you do not have the C wire, you can try to do as follows, but please confirm with your HVAC manufacturer or the electric engineer firstly.
1. Furnace Part: Put Gwire connect to C terminal, use the black jumper wire connect G and Y or W(if you need heat, connect to W, otherwise connect to Y)
2. Thermostat Part: Connect G wire to C terminal on the wallplate. G terminal on the wallplate is blank.

The gateway has a powerful adaptive feature that provides a stable connection for up to 24 fansitc WD71 leak sensors. Please note no support 5 GHz WiFi and W13 Gateway is not compatible with B0CPY7C4HR and B0CZLMW3C7.
REAL-TIME ALERTS & NOTIFICATIONS: When the water sensors alarms detects a leak, it sends an alert to a matching gateway within a range of less than 328FT（Open area). The actual connection distance depends on the usage environment. Usually the usage range of home environment is less than 150 FT. The gateway then pushes the alert to your phone over Wi-Fi, so you get alerts quickly even when you're not home. You can also share the device with family members so they can check its status anytime, anywhere.
SCHEDULED ARMING & DISARMING: You can set up a timed arming and disarming schedule through the app so that the connected smart leak detector can arm and disarm itself automatically according to your needs. For example, you can set it to disarm at night when you go to bed so that it doesn't disturb your sleep. Or you can set your water leak detector not to arm on rainy days.
WATER DRIPPING & LEAKING SENSOR: Benefit from the precision of dual-sensor technology for early detection of leaks, and the reliability of water leak sensor on the bottom foot pads for any significant water accumulation.
